Can you paint my plaster home?
We are regularly painting North Shore plaster home exteriors. Our expert plaster repair team can fix any large or small cracks. Larger cracks generally require cutting out the area and installing an expansion joint. Smaller cracks can be ground out and repaired, with the finer ones using a textured flexible silicon.
All areas where there is potential for water to enter the cladding (such as downpipe screws, vents and window frames) will be sealed with a 25-year lasting paintable silicon which will stop water flowing in.
We prime plaster repairs with a cement sealer, all cladding then has two coats of a high build flexible paint applied using a brush and roller to correct the film build. We only use a premium range of high quality, household name brand paints.
We tape plastic film to the joinery that we attach to protect it as well.
